As always, I'm exceedingly jealous of your adventures. I'm glad that England had good weather/trees for you!

Also:
"Emily and Luke treated Raul and Lauren to a home cooked dinner of Spaghetti Bolognese, with portions maybe too large even for Trent Terwelp."

To expand upon the old-timer chess-playing scene, when we were there watching them and eating ice cream one evening in July, someone came up and spoke animatedly with others who were there observing the game. I wish I understood German, or in this case, Romanian, because suddenly a chorus of several voices saying "Ceauşescu!" rang out. I recall wanting desperately to know what they were talking about that would bring him up.

Thanks Raul for the mini-tour of Florence, Italy. Florence is one of my favorite cities in Italy. City parks and gardens are always a great place to visit and you get a little relief from the tourist masses.
What a wonderful opportunity to spend time with friends.

Greetings Raul,
Thank you for the mini Florence, Italy tour. Florence is one of my favorite cities. The hike to the top of the Duomo is a wonderful treat. Worth every step. The gardens are a wonderful place to enjoy your surroundings without the tourist masses.
So fortunate to meet your friends there.
